Roberto Melini Competition\u00a0<\/strong>was\u00a0 born in 2015 to commemorate Roberto Melini \u00a0teacher for more than 20 years in Bonporti Conservatory in Trento: he was a multitasking man ; musician , archaeologist, mountain climber and skipper and \u00a0died for a mountain accident in Lagorai chain in 2013. For this reason very near Lagorai Mountain in Trentino every year young pianists meet for the competition: Altopiano di Pin\u00e8 , Levico Terme e Roncegno Terme,\u00a0 on the side of three different beautiful \u00a0lakes \u00a0will welcome them ! \nSince its inception, Roberto Melini \u00a0is a reference among the international piano awards for its unusual structure. Every year the competition is focused on a particular author or period and the Final Round is a Chamber Music round. We started with\u00a0Bach & Mendelssohn<\/em>\u00a0( 2015), then\u00a0Schumann&Brahms<\/em>\u00a0( 2016), the\u00a0Russian repertoire<\/em>\u00a0( 2017) ,\u00a0France Italy and Spain<\/em>\u00a0( 2018) and the new edition 2019 dedicated to\u00a0Clara Schumann\u00a0<\/em>(13 September 1819<\/em>)\u00a0\u00a0and her age.
\n<\/em>The next edition will have also a new section for Young Talents\u00a0 beside the main Competition; a new adventure !
\nPremio Roberto Melini has awarded until now young pianists, who today are placed in international theatres and are\u00a0 winner of the most important competitions in the world. \nThe competition is a formal member of \u201cAlink-Argerich Foundation\u201d since 2016 and has prestigious collaborations with italian and international music institutions who offer prize concerts to the winners.<\/p>\n
